When I was at Bible school, was a lecturer from South Africa who refused to speak English and not Dutch spoken. It was my first contact with Afrikaans. This week I went Jacomien (my most distant reader) ruby gems an African Bible. It is wonderful to read. Especially a hypocrite taalpuris like me. Afrikaans is a very efficient language.
